Cetyl palmitate is a pure vegetable lipid ester derived from cetyl alcohol and palmitic acid (a naturally occurring fatty acid). This natural substance, with a melting point of 50-55°C (122-131°F), is produced from sustainable palm oil.
Color cosmetics (e.g., lipsticks), hair care, lotions, creams, moisturizers, cleansers, deodorant sticks, and sunscreens.
