Performance and Applications:

Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate is a mixture of mono- and diesters of a methyl glucoside and stearic acid.

Methyl glucoside sesquistearate is a non-ionic oil-in-water carbohydrate based surfactant and emulsifier, used in membrane research and in cosmetics and dermatological preparations.

Use: Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate and PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate form acomplementary pair of emulsifiers. Creams prepared with thesetwo emulsifiers are mild, non-irritating, with a delicate glossy appearance, and a refreshing skin feel.

Recommended dosage: Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate at 0.3-1%, and PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate at 1-3%.
