Works as a cleansing agent and emulsifier
Also used to enhance the overall texture of skin care products
Amounts exceeding 5% may cause skin irritation; however, sorbitan laurate is generally used in smaller quantities as a supporting ingredient alongside other cleansing agents. Consequently, it is regarded as a safe ingredient for skin application
Applications: Traditional water-in-oil (W/O) emulsifiers, used in skin and hair care products
Use: Recommended usage: 0.5–5.0%. For external use only.
