Sorbitan sesquioleate is a synthetic surfactant and emulsifier based on sorbitol and modified oleic acid; it may be a contact allergen.
Sorbitan Sesquioleate is both a composite polymer emulsifier and a high-performance W/O (water-in-oil) nonionic emulsifier. It is easy to use and offers excellent performance.
Applications: Traditional water-in-oil (W/O) emulsifiers, used in combination with other W/O emulsifiers, are employed in formulating sweat-resistant foundation gels, sweat-resistant foundation creams, and water-in-oil creams.
Use: Recommended usage: 0.5–5.0%.
